What a week it has been! These sure are interesting times but we believe God is and will continue to move in powerful ways during this season.
As we’re sure many of you would have heard, the Prime Minister announced new restrictions around indoor gatherings yesterday afternoon and as such we will no longer be able to hold our regular services at the Best Western.
...BUT, we know that the church is not a building, it's the people of God and although church might look a little different for the immediate future, we can still encounter Jesus and connect others to Him.
For tomorrow morning (21st March) we have decided to meet together at 10am at the Sunken Garden in Queanbeyan Park. Let’s support local cafes & businesses and BYO brunch and a picnic rug. It’s an opportunity for us to connect and encourage one another.
From next sunday
(29th March), we will be launching “Church in the Neighbourhood”
, gathering in homes and as Connect Groups on Sunday mornings instead of meeting all together. We will have church online together, with virtual worship & video messages. If you can't get along to a group or are needing to self isolate you won’t miss out! You will be able to access our worship playlist and video messages, or links to live services that we are tuning into each Sunday on our website (www.c3queanbeyan.com/online
We are also working on providing access to an online Kids Church program for those of you with little ones so they aren’t missing out on church either! Stayed tuned - more info to come!
If you aren’t currently attending a Connect Group you can sign up online to join a “Church in the Neighbourhood”
group in your area. Make sure you stay connected to our social media pages (Facebook
) for the latest information and links to what’s happening in the life of our church.
We are believing for a significant move of God and for countless opportunities to reach those in our community during this time. Let’s continue to pray for our city, nation and the world and bring faith and hope wherever we go.
If you or anyone you know needs practical or emotional support during this time please reach out to us and let us know. We would love to provide support to our community in anyway we can in this time.
We love you church and are praying for you!
Ps Mike & Sarah
